Photos and site data

Photos that settle the question.

Every photo on the job, filed by place and time, marked up without touching the original, and compared with the same spot last month. Add 360s, drone flights and the survey and model files you already have.

Photos filed by location.
Photos by location

A visual diary by place and time.

Photos from the daily log, the phone app and the web land on site, building, level and area, and on the drawing sheet with the camera's heading. Outdoor GPS photos place themselves on a georeferenced sheet.

  • Markup (arrow, box, freehand, text, pin) saved as revisions; the original never changes.
  • Share links for people outside the job, never indexed, revocable.

Plans: Every plan, including the free Solo plan

Before and after

The same spot, on two dates.

Compare photos of one place side by side across dates.

Before and after.
360 walkthroughs

360 photos on the plan, with issue pins.

Upload equirectangular 360 photos from cameras such as RICOH THETA, Insta360 or GoPro MAX, place them on the sheet, pin issues inside them, and compare a spot across dates. Import a whole walk to make a walkthrough.

Plans: Basic 360s on Crew, Company and Business; walkthroughs on Company and Business.

A 360 walkthrough on one level.
Progress checks

Reported progress, checked against the photos.

When a task is marked complete or a pay-app line claims a percent, YakProject looks at the linked photos and says, per expected indicator, consistent, partial, not visible or cannot tell. A reviewer accepts the finding; nothing changes until they do.

Plans: Company and Business

A progress check waiting for review.
Drones

Drone photos as site evidence, maps and stockpile volumes.

Upload a flight folder from your own drone. Photos are hashed and placed by their telemetry, repeat viewpoints become stations, and maps and stockpile volumes are processed from the photos. YakProject never controls a drone: flying, airspace and Part 107 stay with your operator.

Plans: Drone photo evidence on Company and Business; maps and stockpile volumes on Business.

Stockpile volumes from a customer-flown map.
Survey and model data

Point clouds, orthophotos and IFC models on the job.

View the orthophotos, surface models, point clouds (LAS, LAZ, COPC), meshes, 3D Tiles, IFC models and survey GeoJSON that you or your vendors already have. Each dataset keeps the provenance and accuracy you state; YakProject does not certify surveys.

Plans: Business

Customer-supplied datasets on one job.

Questions contractors ask

Does YakProject fly my drone?

No. You fly with your own equipment and operator; YakProject processes and keeps the photos and maps you upload.

Can I share photos with someone outside the job?

Yes, by share link. Links are never indexed and can be revoked.

Do photo features identify people?

No. There is no face recognition and no biometrics in any photo feature.
