See what you are paying for, without chasing the contractor.
When your contractor runs the job in YakProject, they can invite you as the owner's representative. You see what they publish to you: pay applications, change orders waiting for your decision, and progress photos. Your seat is free.
No card to start · one job free · subcontractors and viewers are free · everything exports as PDF or CSV
Only what the contractor publishes to you.
The owner's representative role is deliberately narrow: no internal notes, messages, cost reports or the contractor's advisor. A published item stays until the contractor withdraws it.
Plans: Included for the contractor on every plan; free for you.
Decide change orders with a typed name.
Change orders sent to the owner show what changed and the price. Approve or reject on the portal with your typed name, or the contractor records your written decision. Approved changes raise the revised contract on the contractor's side.
Pay applications sent to you, in the format you expect.
A submitted owner application can be published to you with its G702/G703-style PDFs. The totals are recomputed from the lines, and approval of the subcontractors' applications waits for their signed lien waivers.
Plans: Owner pay applications are on the contractor's Business plan.
Progress photo reports and site photos.
The contractor can publish monthly progress photo reports and, when they fly the site, the date, counts and photos of a drone flight.
Questions contractors ask
Does the owner need to pay?
No. The owner's representative is a free collaborator on the contractor's plan.
Can I see the contractor's internal cost reports?
No. You see only what the contractor publishes to the portal and change orders sent to you.
